JKN Global Group Public Company Limited and its subsidiaries form a dynamic collective of companies excelling in providing services and selling content licenses that enhance ratings for television stations in Thailand and internationally. The name JKN stands for JAKKAPHONG NETWORK, reflecting the visionary leadership of K. Anne Jakkaphong Jakrajutatip, the Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director. In addition to this, the company ventures into selling a diverse range of products and services and excels in advertising and public relations via their digital TV channel, JKN18. With an eye on the future, JKN aims to evolve into a full-fledged CONTENT COMMERCE COMPANY.

OUR JOURNEY

The entrepreneurial journey of JKN began with the sale of products like DVD box sets under the banner of JKN Landmark Co., Ltd. (“JKN LANDMARK”). Entirely owned by K. Anne Jakkaphong Jakrajutatip and family, JKN LANDMARK initially offered services and sold content licenses alongside various other products. However, in 2014, they made a strategic pivot to the real estate sector, focusing on office rentals. Recognizing the booming potential in the content licensing market, especially amidst the pivotal shift in Thailand’s television industry, where the government opened the doors for companies to bid for digital TV licenses, the family decided to transfer JKN LANDMARK’s content licenses to JKN Global Group Public Company Limited in March 2014, to seamlessly continue and expand the business.

Strategic Vision

In addition to its core content licensing business, JKN has strategically expanded its portfolio by acquiring the iconic Miss Universe Organization. This acquisition not only amplifies JKN’s global footprint but also aligns with its vision of blending entertainment and empowerment. The Miss Universe platform enables JKN to reach diverse audiences, leveraging the global appeal of the brand while creating new opportunities for content creation, brand partnerships, and commerce. Through this, JKN is integrating content with e-commerce by offering exclusive products, including fashion, beauty, and lifestyle items inspired by Miss Universe contestants and events. This content-commerce synergy enhances customer engagement, creating a seamless experience that bridges entertainment with digital and physical products. JKN’s strategic expansion into these areas showcases its commitment to pioneering innovative approaches in both media and commerce.
