Anne & Raul are the current owners of the Miss Universe, Miss USA, and Miss Teen USA beauty pageant organizations. She made history as the first trans woman to own these organizations.


Life and Education

 
Anne was born into a Thai Chinese family and recognized from an early age that she was “trapped in the wrong body.” Her journey of self-discovery and determination led her to pursue an education that would lay the foundation for her future success. She attended Assumption College in Bangkok and later studied international relations at Bond University in Queensland, Australia. Anne also holds a certificate in Real Estate Development from Chulalongkorn University and completed a Director Accreditation Program from the Thai Institute of Directors Association.

Anne's career is marked by numerous achievements and pioneering ventures. Her professional journey began with successful ventures in video distribution, including distributing the acclaimed BBC documentary “Walking With Dinosaurs.” In 2013, she founded JKN Global Media, and under her visionary leadership, the company was successfully listed on the Market for Alternative Investment in 2017. In recognition of her groundbreaking work, Anne received the Asia Media Woman of the Year award at the Content Asia Summit in Singapore in 2019, becoming the first Thai and first transgender woman to do so.

Advocacy and Personal Commitment

As a proud transgender woman, Anne is a passionate advocate for LGBTQ causes. She actively supports the Life Inspired for Transsexual Foundation, a nonprofit transgender rights group. Her advocacy work is driven by her personal experiences and her commitment to creating a more inclusive and accepting society.
