JKN Global Group Public Company Limited and its subsidiaries are a group of companies engaged in content licensing and distribution services, which have significantly boosted the ratings for television stations both in Thailand and internationally. This success has propelled the company to be listed on the Stock Exchange of Thailand. The name JKN stands for JAKKAPHONG NETWORK, named after Jakkaphong Jakrajutatip, the Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director of JKN Global Group Public Company Limited.
In addition, the company also operates a commerce business that sells various products and provides advertising and promotional services through its digital television channel, JKN18. At the end of 2022, the company invested in the Miss Universe Organization, leveraging the Miss Universe brand’s licensing rights to drive growth in the commerce segment and push JKN towards becoming a Global Content Commerce Company.

The company initially operated in the business of selling various products, such as DVD box sets, under JKN Landmark Co., Ltd. managed and fully owned (100%) by Jakkaphong Jakrajutatip and his family. JKN Landmark was involved in content licensing and distribution, as well as selling other products, before shifting to real estate operations, such as leasing office buildings, in 2014.
Jakkaphong and his family recognized the high growth potential of the content licensing and distribution business under JKN Landmark, particularly during a significant transformation in Thailand’s television industry, where the government allowed companies to bid for licenses to operate digital television stations. To support the growth and expansion of the content licensing and distribution business, Jakkaphong and his family decided to transfer the content licensing rights from JKN Landmark to JKN Global Group Public Company Limited, starting in March 2014.

To achieve continuous business growth, the company has invested in studying the popularity of content licensing both domestically and internationally. This research helps in selecting and importing high-quality, diverse content licenses to meet the demands of viewers in Thailand and abroad. The company’s content licenses fall into eight categories and can be distributed through multiple channels, such as television (both digital and other systems), video-on-demand platforms (like online streaming), and home entertainment formats (such as DVDs and Blu-rays).
The content licenses are directly purchased and imported from copyright owners in various countries, including South Korea, India, China, the Philippines, and the United States. Additionally, the company obtains content licenses from local companies that have acquired the rights from international copyright owners.

Building on the success of its content licensing and distribution business, which has been JKN’s core expertise for over 10 years, the company has gained a deep understanding of consumer behavior. Recognizing that content licenses can attract consumer interest towards various forms of commerce, JKN decided to leverage its strengths and success to expand into the commerce business. The company saw significant opportunities and potential in the large and rapidly growing market.
JKN’s commerce business is divided into three main categories: CARE, NUTRITION, and FOOD, aimed at expanding its business segments and driving sustainable sales growth. The company uses its strengths in CEO branding and Superstar Marketing, which have been successful in the content business, along with expanding its fanbase to enhance the commerce business. The digital television channel, JKN18, serves as a key tool in driving growth for the commerce segment. Additionally, the globally renowned Miss Universe brand is being utilized to propel the commerce business forward, pushing JKN towards becoming a Global Content Commerce Company.

Held the 7.11.17 JKN MEGA SHOWCASE DIAMOND GOLD "THE MASTER OF CONTENT," marking a golden year for JKN as the company achieved success and went public. JKN became the first company in the Stock Exchange of Thailand to engage in the content trading business, establishing itself as a leader in content trading in Thailand.

The company's securities, under the ticker symbol "JKN," began trading on the Market for Alternative Investment (MAI) for the first time.

The company signed an agreement with BEC World Public Company Limited, the operator of Channel 33 HD, Channel 28 SD, and Channel 13 Family, to act as the distributor of Channel 3's Thai drama content licenses to global markets (excluding China, Hong Kong, Macau, Cambodia, Vietnam, and Myanmar).

JKN Renews Contract with BEC to Distribute Thai Content Globally
Renewed the contract with BEC World Public Company Limited, the operator of Channel 33 HD, to market and distribute Channel 3's Thai drama content internationally. The expansion covered markets in the Asia-Pacific region, including the Philippines, Indonesia, Malaysia, Brunei, Singapore, South Korea, Japan, as well as the Middle East, Europe, Canada, and Latin America.

CEO Awarded 'Woman of the Year'
Jakkaphong Jakrajutatip, the Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director, received the 'Woman of the Year' award at the Content Asia Summit 2019, an international content production and distribution seminar held for the 7th year in Singapore.

The company acquired a 51% stake to establish JKN MN B Co., Ltd., for the purpose of engaging in the beverage distribution business.

100% Ownership of Digital TV Channel 18
The company acquired all shares, becoming the 100% shareholder of DN Broadcast Co., Ltd., which holds the license for operating Channel NEW18.

Launch of Digital TV Channel JKN18

100% Ownership of the Miss Universe Organization
JKN Metaverse, Inc., a subsidiary incorporated under the laws of the State of Delaware, USA, acquired 100% ownership of the Miss Universe Organization (MUO).

JKN Forms Strategic Partnership with Legacy Holding Group
JKN Global Content Pte, Ltd. signed an agreement to sell a 50% stake in JKN Legacy, Inc. (formerly "JKN Metaverse, Inc.") to Legacy Holding Group, led by Mr. Raul Rocha Cantu. The strategic partnership aims to drive growth, transform the MUO business group, and expand the brand's reach into products and services, positioning the organization for global success.
