The crown is named “Force for Good” and features a 45.14 carat royal blue sapphire as the centerpiece. It has a story behind each embellishment, with waves of diamonds and blue sapphires, and is reportedly worth $6 million or roughly a whopping PHP 332 million. According to Anne, “Miss Universe 2022 “Force for Good” Crown stands for a graceful reincarnation of the Miss Universe Organization’s long-standing values and heritage as a guiding light, shining bright to the future glory. The new crown is also the dazzling illustration of both the challenges and rewards that come when young women advocate for causes close to their heart and strive make an impact on the world.”
Anne shared that the crown might be with the organization for a long long time. “We’re going to change [the] crown never again, maybe because I like the crown so much and it represents so much in the world despite the recession, inflation, and the obstacle course we have to go through.” For the lucky crowned Miss Universe 2022, she says that the most deserving woman should take this to heart. “You have to believe in yourself. This is a message that we tell the whole world and we introduce it here. That is why we have the force for good here.”
This is the first edition of Miss Universe under the new Thai owner who imparted words like that of a beauty queen. “As we are stepping into the new era of women’s empowerment, The Miss Universe Organization will continue to be a global organization run by women for women with a promise to serve as an inspirational platform that celebrates diverse women—supporting them to realize their ambition and build self-confidence while evolving the brand over time to be more relevant and appealing to the next generation.”
